Scott Beckmann, was born and raised in the Mat-Su Valley. He grew up playing sports and fishing with his Dad. He graduated from Colony High School and attended the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is a devoted son, brother, and uncle. Scott likes to spend his free time adventuring in Alaska with his family, girlfriend, and friends. Fishing and snow machining are his favorite hobbies. When Scott does leave the state, it’s usually to find some warmer weather and a sandy beach.

Beckmann Company, LLC is the product of being raised around construction and working for the carpenter’s union in Scott’s early adulthood. Scott saw an opportunity in the industry to create something new, and was attracted to the freedom that starting his own construction company could offer him. He left his union job to start Beckmann Co, LLC in 2015. He started out like many contractors with small jobs and remodels, but quickly gained a reputation for his quality work and ability to customize projects for his clients and at that point ventured into building custom homes from the ground up. In recent years Beckmann Co, LLC has become known for beautiful beam and other wood working elements in their custom builds. He enjoys the challenge of marrying classic design choices like exposed beams, to more modern designs.

Scott has a creative side that he puts to work to draw custom home plans for his clients, eliminating the need for a third party. This allows for a level of customization that not every builder can offer. Clients have said that Scott is “approachable” and “easy going” which has allowed him to work closely with his clients in this way.
